About Visa Photo Kit

Visa Photo Kit makes passport and visa photos at the exact official size, in your browser. Pick your document, upload a photo, check it against the official rules and download it.

How it works

Everything runs on your device. The tool finds your face, crops and scales the photo to the size the issuing authority asks for, and checks the head size, eye line, background, lighting and pose. Your photo is never uploaded to a server.

Where the rules come from

Every size comes from the official government or embassy page for that document. Each document page links to its source and shows the date we last checked it.

What we can't promise

We check what can be checked automatically, but the final decision is always up to the issuing authority. We are not affiliated with any government.
